Women need not fear traveling alone – with precautions, the journeys can turn out to be some of the most rewarding and exciting experiences of your life. As they say in Costa Rica, “pura vida!” This phrase means something like “full of life” or “this is living,” and is used all over the country as a greeting and a farewell. Seize the day!
